Celebrate Wine Better with Wine Clubs

All over the world, there are a lot of people who share a deep passion for wine. Some of them have formed wine clubs to be able to celebrate wine while sharing the knowledge that they have with other experienced wine drinkers as well as novices who are showing interest in wine as well. In fact, wine clubs have developed their own way of life with wine as the heart of it all.

wine clubs are categorized into varietals, vineyards, winemakers and countries of origin. If you have a penchant for a specific class of wine, you would be able to enjoy it better by joining wine clubs that specialize in that category. A good wine club can open your eyes to different winemakers, vineyard locations and even winemaking styles.

The good thing with wine clubs is that they are able to combine the best of different worlds ranging from classic winemakers to the smallest vineyards that produce the best tasting wines. And with wine club memberships, you will enjoy the best wines which are handpicked by the experts in the field. You will also receive invitations to wine tasting parties which are exclusive to members only. Those added bonuses really start to add up after a while!

6 Great Food and Drink Combinations!

1.Cajun Food and Beer

Cajun food is really good. Its also really spicy. I love having an ice cold beer with my crawfish jambalaya. It the hops really bring out the natural flavors of the spices while downplaying the spiciness.

2.Indian Food and Wine

Wine is a relatively new mix to Indian food. But wow, is it good. You dont want something super strong for Indian food because the flavors and spices already overwhelm your palette. Just get a bit of lightly sweetened white wine to enjoy your meal as you savor the fantastic curry.

3.Crackers and Martinis

This combination is really more of a snack or party food. Sometimes when Im entertaining a bunch of guests, Ill just set out a few Ritz crackers and some Lindberg Lemonade. The salty crunch married with the sweet taste of the lemonade is as natural as peanut-butter and jelly. The Local Restaurants Newcastle serve a mean martini which is only down the road for me. Sort of too close to home if you get my drift!

4.Mexican and Margaritas

There is a reason this is such a cultural favorite. Margaritas and nachos are just made to be. Rather than lick the salt off of the rim of the glass, try eating a few nachos instead. The salt and other flavors lend themselves to the tequila in such a pleasant way. Be creative and try different things mixers with the tequila to bring out different flavors out of the nacho toppings.

5.Ice Cream and Disaronno

This is one of my all time favorite combinations. Grab some ice cream and put it in a glass. Next fill it about a third to halfway with Disaronno liqueur. Then fill the rest up with your choice of Dr. Pepper or Root Beer. The smoothness of the liqueur blends perfectly with the ice cream and soda, making it the perfect late night desert. And with a relatively low alcohol content, you cant stop with just one.

6.B.B.Q. and Rum

I love BBQ. I love rum. I find few things more enjoyable than scarfing a honey barbecue sandwich at my local restaurant and then washing it down with some pomegranate Pirate Bay rum. Both are sweet and I love how the alcohol compliments the flavor of the sandwich. Just thinking about it makes me hungry for more.
